Senator Bradford joint about hundreds of individuals and Councilman Joe Buscaino, Congresswoman Nanette Barragán, Assemblyman Patrick O'Donnell and others who gathered to protest police brutality. The event was hosted in partnership with Councilman Joe Buscaino, LAPD and NAACP. LAPD handed out roses to demonstrators in San Pedro calling for unity within the community.

Senator Bradford participated in distributing 10,000 plus meal to families in need through WonndaLunch. WondaLunch in partnership with hunger nonprofit Project Isaiah, Jannel Monáe, handed out free lunches in Inglewood, alongside rapper and actor Jidenna, attorney and political commentator Angela Rye, and congresswoman Maxine Waters. This was the fourth lunch giveaway. The first three happened in Atlanta. The event organizers said they want to make sure the communities which may be disproportionately affected by the pandemic feel supported.

Senator Bradford in partnership with Phillips 66 hosted a food giveaway to help families in need. Senator Bradford helped secure a donation of $25,000 to the Wilmington YMCA through a grant from the Crisis Response Community Relief Project of Phillips 66. At the food giveaway today, we were able to distribute 6000 meals. The grant will support the following YMCA COVID-19 relief efforts: Farm Fresh Produce to low-income families and seniors, Grab-and-Go Food Programs, and Essential Supplies to low-income residents.

Senator Bradford in partnership with Phillips 66 hosted a food giveaway to help families in need. California Senator Steven Bradford (35th District) secured 1,000 face shields produced by CSUDH students with 3D printing to protect Resident Physicians at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center who are on the frontlines of the pandemic.

The face shields will protect medical professionals during procedures that might expose them to blood or other infectious fluids, and support their own health and safety as they work with COVID-19 positive patients.
