The City of Gardena hosted its 18th Annual Gardena Jazz Festival, continuing the legacy for almost two decades. Senator Bradford founded the Gardena Jazz Festival, and continues to Chair the Gardena Jazz Festival Committee responsible for putting this event together. This year's setlist includes Eric Benét, Norman Brown, Keiko Matsui, Mike Phillips, and the Fernando Pullum Community Arts Center Jazz Band. To highlight the importance of getting vaccinated against COVID-19, there was a Vaccination van available to vaccinate those who chose to get vaccinated.

Senator Bradford and local leaders representing Carson, joined the Alliance Against Asian Hate for a vigil and rally condemning the growing hate and violence against the Asian American community.

Senator Bradford, Assemblyman Mike Gipson and other local leaders attended a memorial held to honor the lives lost due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The dignitaries laid wreaths, read names of those that passed and lit candles of hope during the memorial service.  The virtual “Celebration of Life” was hosted by Assemblyman Gipson. Senator Bradford attened the City of Gardena's 51st Annual Veterans Day Celebration held to honor Veterans. Senator Bradford was joined by Gardena Mayor Tasha Cerda, Councilman Rodney Tanaka, City Clerk Mina Semenza, City Manager Clint Osario, Gardena Police Chief Mike Saffell among others. Senator Bradford thanks and recognized our Veterans who did their part to ensure our safety.
