The California Legislative Black Caucus is Seeking Applications - Deadline May 15th

Dear Friends,

I wanted to share information about multiple scholarship and learning opportunities that benefit our students. The California Legislative Black Caucus and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation has launched applications for their scholarships and leadership programs.

In the name of Frederick Roberts, the first African-American legislator in California, the CLBC scholarship program was established to assist deserving graduating high schools students by offering financial assistance to help meet educational expenses.

CLBC is also ecstatic to announce its annual 4-day residential leadership and advocacy initiative "AFRICAN AMERICAN LEADERS OF TOMORROW (AALT)" – in partnership with California State University Dominguez Hills taking place on July 19th – July 22nd. This year program is designed for 10th & 11th grade high school students.
