Dear Friends,
As Chair of the Senate Energy, Utilities and Communications Committee, I want to make sure all Californians have access to affordable high-speed internet service.
The federal Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), established as a financial assistance program during COVID, provides eligible households with a monthly discount to help pay for broadband internet service.
Assistance to pay for high-speed home internet is currently available to assist low-income California consumers. For example, a family of four earning less than $62,400 per year may qualify for a $30 per month subsidy under the ACP.
However, new enrollments will end on February 7, 2024, at 8:59 PM Pacific Time unless additional federal funding to continue the program is authorized. If you think you could benefit from this program, click here to learn more and apply. https://www.internetforallnow.org/applytoday
Sincerely,
Senator Steven Bradford
