SACRAMENTO – Senator Steven Bradford (D-Gardena) released the following statement on the incident involving the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Feezy Lebron on New Year’s Eve:

“I’m deeply disturbed by the actions of these Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies. Threatening to put a bullet in a person who was just sitting in their car in a parking lot of a friend’s business is flat out wrong and another example of abuse of authority. This man was not doing anything wrong.

SACRAMENTO ­– The members of the National Black Caucus of State Legislators (NBCSL) have awarded the organization’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award to Senator Steven Bradford. The award was presented to Senator Bradford during NBCSL’s 46^th Annual Legislative Conference.

TORRANCE, CA ­– Senator Steven Bradford (D-Gardena), in partnership with El Camino College, with title sponsor Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, distributed over twelve hundred turkeys and pork roasts, over eight hundred grocery boxes, and one hundred Ralphs gift cards to families in need this holiday season. Senator Bradford continued this tradition, which he started as a member of Gardena’s City Council and then as a State Assemblymember.

SACRAMENTO – Senator Steven Bradford (D-Gardena) successfully secured $2 million of funding in California’s 2022-2023 budget for the City of Gardena.
