SB 673 would increase awareness, response and resources

SACRAMENTO – Senator Steven Bradford (D-Gardena) has introduced SB 673 to create an “Ebony Alert” notification system to address the often ignored or lack of attention given to Black children and young Black women that are missing in California.

“I’m deeply disturbed by the actions of these Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies. Threatening to put a bullet in a person who was just sitting in their car in a parking lot of a friend’s business is flat out wrong and another example of abuse of authority. This man was not doing anything wrong.
