Senator BradfordSB 50 on Traffic Stops

SB 50 passed the Senate Public Safety Committee on Tuesday. This legislation will prohibit police from making traffic stops for low-level, non-safety-related violations, unless there's a separate, independent reason. These vehicle stops disproportionately impact Black and Brown people and in too many cases, can turn deadly.
